Auto detection: where possible the bibliography is deduced from the metadata of the document or, if a PDF, conducting an automated online research when the PDF paper has a code number Unique Document Identifier.

Manual method: where it is not possible for our algorithm to compile the bibliography, you can manually input it. If you wish to have citations appear for your highlights you should compile the bibliography.

Citation styles: you can choose your preferred citation style selecting Preferences in the bottom left corner of the Menu bar, then selecting Citation Styles: a list of different citation styles will appear. If you cannot find your preferred citation style you can download it with our Download Styles option.
